For a long time now, I have been trying to decide what best to do with this web space I have, and as in life I have chosen to dedicate it to my child.

I believe that whether you are making plans to bring a child into this world, or you are already a parent, the daunting issues of the world are always the things that you would least like your child to experience, and yet without physically being able to change these issues, you know that your child will experience at least one of these things in their lifetime.

As parents, or even as potential parents, we sometimes underestimate the power we have over those that do not possess our understanding or our inclination, and yet our voices are not heard over that which we believe to be leading to the abuse, and to the exploitation of so many children.

There are many governing bodies all consisting of a mere handful of people, supposedly acting on behalf of our children, so that we, the majority of the worlds population need not worry about the world we are bringing our little ones into, but it would appear that their corner is not being fully represented, and the fears we have for them are becoming more frequently apparent.

If you are still reading this, then you have no doubt realised the truth, that you are indeed worthy as you are entitled, to make the demands that safeguard not only your childs / potential childs future, but the future of children the world over, and to exert such widely shared opinions would be a truly powerful thing, but only as long as we all voice them together, directly to those bodies that are able to implement the change.

Those of us that actually have the time amongst the routines of a hectic day to focus on these issues, are truly in the minority these days. I however, through no choice of my own, am a part time parent so am able to dedicate quite a lot of my time to this kind of research, and I am more than willing to continue doing so for my childs benefit, and so that you dont have to.

The menu on the left of your screen will be updated with the issues that I believe that so many of us would like to see addressed in the immediate future, each one requires an action in order to help make that happen, each one giving you the means of doing so, all that you need to be able to do is; cut and paste prewritten documents from this website into an email (email address required),or to print prewritten letters from this website for mailing (printer, name, address, stamp and envelope required).

This is a royalty free site, please feel free to use the templates provided here either in whole or part to express your view, but above all else do so knowing the huge difference we can all make together.

I am not the only person to remark upon the content available on the internet, anyone can view it, and a lot of the viewing material is still inappropriate for the eyes of children, and yet there are many organisations out there claiming that the issue is in hand, therefore we are lead to believe that it is all under control.

Many of these organisations will discourage parents from what they are calling vigilantism, whereby seeking out sites that contain any form of abuse or exploitation against children in order to report it, as such people may be prosecuted for frequent viewing under Child Protection Law.

However, it was reported a while ago by an organisation here in the UK, that there are 7 new leads inadvertently discovered and reported every day in the fight against Child Exploitation on the internet, so therefore it would seem that these organisations are reliant upon any information given to them by such people.

Given that much of the internet has been adapted by responsible adults to encourage its use by children, there are unfortunately less responsible individuals that are fully aware of their presence, and are willing to do whatever it takes to gain their attention, and given that it literally takes a responsible site to report itself to an organisation so as to remove its own viewing content from the gaze of children, the illegal sites should therefore be those that remain undetected as an adult genre by your Internet Browser, and that remain completely viewable to our children, but this clearly is not the case.

For example, lets just say your child types in an age related search into a popular search engine, in this case teens, your child is instantly given approx 173,000,000 results for their search, and having been lead to believe that all 173,000,000 of these sites are child orientated, you feel that you have little to worry about with the content control switched on.

Here is how it works though; many adults have paid to have the Content Barr removed allowing them to view adult content, pretty much all of the X rated sites on the internet provide the user with genre links, and most, if not all of these sites have links to hardcore teen sites, some even suggesting that they have the youngest on the internet, but as a user with no content control you cannot tell if what you are seeing has been registered or even if it is legal, it is an open gateway through which you instantly see hardcore images, and each time a site like this is viewed it moves up the list of the most visited.

It is not until you make your search in Safe Mode, as your child did in the previous example, that you realise how highly ranked some of these unregistered and completely unrestricted adult sites actually are, some making it into the top 100 most visited sites even in Safe Mode, and this is some achievement given that there were approx 173,000,000 other viewable sites in the same genre (teens), and most will easily adapt for viewing on a Mobile Phone, these sites clearly didn't achieve this on their own, they have piggy backed their way above the other sites available in Safe Mode primarily through seemingly legitimate adult usage, but the real worrying factor here is knowing just how many of the potential hits that help keep them there, are our children inadvertently viewing this material?!

Alarming also, is the layout of these sites, explicit as they are they still manage to portray a certain innocence, usually with the help of very loud colour schemes and childish imagery such as dolls, teddies and many more of the likes of children, therefore I can only imagine that their design was purposely intended with this in mind.

Currently organisations can only, as far as I can see, investigate web-sites containing sexually explicit imagery of children, surprisingly this does not include imagery of preteens photographed in their undergarments nor innocent nudity, even when the links to these so called innocent images are displayed in a very hardcore environment.

The emphasis here is purely on the images themselves and not the context they are shown in, even the P2P sites so often used for music downloads are notorious for the free file sharing of adult images and video files, and yet images or videos where child abuse and exploitation are clearly evident will not be investigated following a report into its whereabouts, for whatever reason it is simply not a done thing in any case involving P2P.

I am sure you will agree that we have reached a point now, where it is no longer acceptable as an adult, to simply place a virtual note on a virtual door saying: "If you are not 18 please leave now!", when in reality it is just saying: "Enter Here, we wont stop you coming in,when you do we will ignore you, so feel free to look around!".

Nor should we accept as adults, whilst exploring very adult themes, the existence of images of children linked with them, with a very large loophole allowing our children easy viewing on the back of what we see, making viewing possible even in Internet Cafes and Public Libraries, and possibly even schools!!

Knowingly publishing unrestricted adult content on the internet, whilst there are very clear reasons and methods for not doing so, and the posting of links to the imagery of children portrayed either innocently or erotically from X-rated sites, should both be looked upon as methods of grooming children, and illegalised immediately.

Firstly we should all, as adults, take the advice given to us by these organisations very seriously; So unless you do inadvertently stumble across what you believe to be illegal images of children, you should never go in search of them just to report what you have seen, let your reason for not doing so at this moment in time be a preventative measure, the images that you do see may not be illegal, and if they are not then they will remain on full public view and become more popular each time they are visited, which you would be helping them to do, also making it possible for children all over the world to see the same images and any other content very easily.

Secondly you as an individual need to decide what you would like to see happening, what you believe is the best course of action to further prevent what I have described to you on these pages, to save you deliberating for too long, I have come up with two possible solutions to this problem, so all you need to do (to save you time) is read and choose from the following:

All Adult Content for the purpose of Public Display via the internet should remain viewable on a subscription only basis, all open / user consent gateways to Adult Content should be illegalised under Child Protection Law, Organisations approved by the EU and the Commonwealth should then utilise existing affordable technology i.e. Webots, to detect illegal gateways to Adult Content without further public intervention

All Adult Content for the purpose of Public Display via the internet, should be Tagged and instantly recognisable by all Internet Browsers and Search Engines as is currently optional, all open / user consent gateways to Adult Content should comply under Child Protection Law, Organisations approved by the EU and the Commonwealth should then utilise existing affordable technology i.e. Webots, to detect illegal Tag-less gateways to Adult Content without further public intervention

If we simply do nothing, then it will remain in the eyes of God to decide, who is inadvertently seeing these images of young children being raped, murdered even,or who is just fulfilling a very sick fantasy, because these issues currently stand in a position of disarray, given the many millions of sites still out there portraying children and sex in the same category.

After being given a very clear indication of how few of these sites are actually reported.., lets see now, 7 sites reported a day... 365 days in a year that makes the total number of sites reported 2555 a year, lets just say there are 1,000,000 sites out there, divided by our yearly total of 2555..., there is enough work to last these organisations approx 391 years!!

Clearly we must act now to help speed up this process, it is very wrong that we are relied upon so heavily to experience these images in order to rid the world of them, but it is also very wrong that we ignore them and trust that our children will do the same, there are children out there suffering hideous crimes against their humanity, whilst Paedophiles are making a lot of money from doing so,and grooming our children at the same time without actually meeting them.
